Garlicky Oven Roasted Mushrooms are a veggie lover, low calorie, low carb side dish or hors d'oeuvre. They're heated in garlic, chives, olive oil, salt, and pepper. This formula requires next to no oil and the mushrooms are delicate and succulent.

My preferred thing about this formula, other than omnomnom… these children are broiler simmered, which by and large need significantly less oil than mushrooms sautéed on the stove.

Broiler simmered mushrooms are ideal for any event and require not very many kitchen abilities. They're decidedly delightful and will never keep going extremely long, so make bounty!

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 lb Button Mushrooms wiped clean, stems trimmed or removed
  • 1 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic finely chopped
  • 2 Tbsp fresh Chives thinly sliced
  • 1/8 tsp Kosher Salt
  • 1/8 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1/8 tsp Garlic Powder

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat oven or toaster oven to 400°.
  2. Toss clean mushrooms into ziploc bag or a bowl; add olive oil, fresh garlic, fresh chives, salt, and pepper.
  3. Gently massage mushrooms to work the ingredients over entire surface.
  4. Place in oiled skillet or baking sheet; dust with garlic powder.
  5. Bake 10-12 minutes and serve warm.
